To prepare for the upcoming MPC short film festival in May, it is important to look at examples of good short films. Unfortunately, making films in general is an expensive task. The good news: it doesn't have to be! This first post will show what kinds of short films can be made on a shoestring (or no-string) budget. Below are the links to the individual films on the list.
Pay attention to what kinds of locations are used, how many actors, how much dialogue, camera shots and angles, lighting, sound design, editing... you get the picture.
These are narrative films, so if you are interested in documentary or other genres of film, stay tuned!D
